Naadi Dosh (2022)

When the families first meet, everything seems to be going well until Prashant, the father of Riddhi (played by Prashant Barot), contacts an astrologer to match the bride and groom’s birth charts and they do not match. They are under tremendous pressure to follow tradition from both their families and society. Nadi Dosh doesn’t shy away from portraying the heartbreaking consequences of such pressure, leaving you thinking about the complexities of love and societal expectations. Vash (2023)

This psychological thriller will not let you get up from your seat. Aarya (played by Janki Bodiwala) gets under the influence of black magic by a stranger Pratap (Hiten Kumar). Under his influence, Aarya tries to harm her family. It quickly turns into a nightmare for her father, mother and brother. The film nicely shows the negative effects of black magic and how it destroys a happy family. A powerful performance by Janki Bodiwala, Hiten Kumar and Hitu Kanodia. It keeps you glued to the screen, but Vash is not for the faint-hearted. Pair this intense watch with a soothing cup of cold coffee to calm your nerves after the film ends. The caffeine kick might even inspire you to discuss the movie’s important message with your friends.

Chello Divas (2015)

Calling all comedy fans! The story of this movie is guaranteed to make you laugh and take you back to your old college days. The film follows a group of college friends and their adventures in college and their personal lives. As they think about their past and look at the complexities of their present lives, hilarious situations and laugh-out-loud moments arise. Love ni Bhavai (2017

Aa to prem ni vaat chhe. This delightful film explores the complexities of love and relationships through the story of Aaditya (played by Pratik Gandhi – he has become the rom-com king of Gujarati cinema?), RJ Antara Suman (played by Aarohi Patel) and her boyfriend Sagar (played by Malhar Thakar). However, Antara and Sagar’s love story faces new challenges. Will their love survive this test? Love ni Bhavai is a fun, light-hearted film that will have you rooting for the love birds and cheering for them happily ever after. Chal Man Jeetva Jaiye (2017)

The entire film takes place in one room and includes roughly ten to twelve family members who have just experienced significant financial losses as a result of poor business decisions made by the family’s male members. Therefore, they have two options for handling the situation: file for bankruptcy or give the investors their money back. Each has benefits and drawbacks. In the film, a father and his two kids argue over how to handle the problem from different points of view. The two boys fight each other to create an empire in their unique ways as the film comes to a close, which may encourage viewers to return for the sequel.

Maunam (2024)

Supermarket worker Raghav (Bhavik Bhojak) and writer Meera (Aanchal Shah) fall in love, get married and look forward to having their first kid together. After being engaged in an accident that leaves Raghav in intensive care, their lives take an unexpected turn. The film portrays their struggles with raw honesty and relatable situations, making it a must-watch for anyone who’s ever felt lost or unsure of their path.

Gujju Bhai The Great (2015)

The Gandhi residence is shown in the first scene of the movie and then the camera goes back to reveal the actors. A cheerful man, Hasmukh Gandhi’s (played by Siddharth Randeria) carefree existence falls apart when his daughter Tanisha (played by Dipna Patel) returns home with her boyfriend, Montu. Tanisha was a passionate fan of Superstar Sonia Kapoor and Montu (Alekh Sangal) promised her that he knew her well and would take her to see Sonia at some point. In an attempt to prove he could attract any girl, Montu travelled to Ahmedabad. Along with a coworker, Hasmukh decides to help her daughter break up with her boyfriend. The film is a laugh riot, packed with slapstick humour, witty dialogues and quirky characters. Light-hearted and fun, this film is perfect for a casual watch with friends. And what better way to unwind after the movie than with our signature burgers?

Shu Thayu (2018)

Manan (played by Malhar Thakar) was fully prepared to tie the knot with his beloved, Dipali (played by Kinjal Rajpriya). However, a mishap just before the wedding left him with amnesia, causing him to forget every detail about the wedding. Laughter breaks out when Manan’s friends attempt various funny techniques to force him to recall things he has forgotten and is trying to hide from his fiancée.

Hellaro (2019)

A little girl named Manjhri is married off in 1975 to a little community in the remote Rann of Kutch. The village has not seen rain in a long time. Because of a widow rup who was an embroiderer and attempted to get money by running away with another villager. According to people, it was the goddess’ curse. The ladies are not permitted to perform garba; instead, the men apologise to the goddess by performing a garba. The women of the village are only free in the mornings when they walk to a far-off lake to get water. Relatable characters and a powerful message make this a must-watch.

Wrong Side Raju (2016)

Following an ugly hit-and-run incident that permanently changes the lives of three people, a driver by the name of Raju sets out on a mission of forgiveness. A young man named Raju Bhambhani (played by Pratik Gandhi) is from Ahmedabad. His boss Tanmay (played by Kavi Shastri), the son of a well-known manufacturer, accuses him of being involved in a hit-and-run case, which drastically changes his life. Police attempt to distinguish between reality and fantasy as Raju sets out to prove his innocence.
